During his formative years, MP Shawon displayed exceptional leadership skills and a passion for social change. From 1987 to 1991, he served as the President of Bangladesh Student League Ramna Thana, where his dynamic leadership caught the attention of all. Simultaneously, he was elected as the Vice-President of Siddheshawri Degree College, further solidifying his reputation as a promising young leader.Continuing his ascent, MP Shawon served as the Vice-President of Bangladesh Student League, Dhaka South, from 1992 to 1994.

Rising Through The Ranks

His dedication and organizational acumen earned him the position of Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awamileague Juboleague, Dhaka South, from 1994 to 1999. He further strengthened his ties within the party as the Joint Convener of Bangladesh Awami Juboleague, Dhaka South, from 1999 to 2001.MP Shawon's leadership prowess reached new heights when he assumed the role of General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Juboleague, Dhaka South, from 2001 to 2012. During this period, he demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, fostering unity within the party and spearheading various initiatives for the welfare of the people.

In 2012, MP Shawon embarked on a new chapter in his political journey by becoming the Member of Parliament for Bhola-03, Lalmohon-Tajumuddin. This marked the beginning of his first term as an MP, a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in him by the constituents. Since then, he has been re-elected for three consecutive terms, with each term lasting four years. His enduring loyalty to Bangladesh Awamileague and his steadfast commitment to the people have solidified his position as the party's main candidate in the constituency.
